TALENT Tree, licensed firm specialized in the recruitment and selection of personnel, is looking for a qualified profile to join an highly innovative company working in the Life Sciences sector in the role of:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Controller
The candidate, reporting to the CFO, will handle the following activities:
- Manage and organise a cost accounting department, maintain analytical accounting (cost centre/project) and reporting system;
- Assist in the preparation of company?s business model, budget, forecasts and actual vs. budget comparative analysis. Update the business model based on company developments.
- Assist the CFO and Finance Manager in the drawing up quarterly and year-end financial statement. Organizes the activities associated with the drawing up of documents, gathers the necessary information to be included in the documents.
- For the more relevant R&D agreements, FP&A has been taking ownership to analyze and review those agreements, working with colleagues responsible for related the R&D, Quality and CMC, Clinical Affairs activities. Prepare excel files and, monthly, reviewed the status of the work, the % of completion, matched the invoices with purchase orders and agreements, collected support documentations and reconciled balance with vendors.
- Assist CFO in the preparation of the necessary material for meetings with External Auditors, statutory Auditors and Board of Directors.
To be successful in this role the candidate will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Industrial Management Engineering or related fields.
- Work experience: at least 4 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis, financial operations in a Company.
- Language skills: good knowledge of written and oral English (level B2/C1);
- Computer skills: good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel); Experience using multiple tools including Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Hyperion, among others is a plus.

Location: Hybrid (Milan HQ)
Type of contract: open-end contract, Full Time
